The owner of Tommy’s Twin Mill Garage, Thomas DeFranzo builds custom hot rods, including full-sized vehicles inspired by Hot Wheels Cars, from his base in Windsor, Connecticut. In addition to his professional activities, Thomas DeFranzo volunteers at the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Committed to fulfilling the wishes of children with critical illnesses, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants a wish every 34 minutes on average. As part of its recent activities, the foundation collaborated with MedCity News, a top source for news regarding innovation in the field of health care, to launch a unique partnership.

Through the partnership, MedCity News will publish a feature story on the steps health care organizations are taking to help young patients with critical illnesses tell their stories. The features will share initiatives from some of the more than 50 children's hospitals that work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as three corporate partners. The stories will appear on MedCityNews.com. In addition to the online publication, MedCity News will donate social media and email support.
